Description[?]:
The Beluzian Labor Party is one of a small group of genuine labour parties around the world which provides for the direct affiliation of trade unions, incorporating them into the structure of the party. This distinguishes labour parties from social democratic parties, although many have common ideals and philosophies, and from other broadly-based progressive parties. The BLP's objectives are outlined in the Party Platform, and include fair distribution of the benefits of economic growth, continuous improvement in the welfare and living standards of the Beluzian people, and the reallocation of resources to those most in need. The Parliamentary Party draws on the policy Platform, updated by National Conference every three years, in preparing its program. Labor's enduring policy objectives include: -a fairer distribution of political and economic power; -restoration of full employment; -greater equality in the distribution of income, wealth and opportunity; -equal access and rights to employment, education, health and other community services and activities; -more democratic control, ownership and participation in Beluzian industry; -maintenance of world peace; and -an independent Beluzian position in world affairs. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: "The only people who would be hurt by abandoning the Kyoto Protocol would be several thousand people who make a living attending conferences on global warming." - Kirill Kondratyev |
