Description[?]:
Samara's Protestant Historical Union was formed in 2903. The lack of a conservative and Christian political organisation was cited as the reason for this, and the movement draws upon traditions of political Protestantism that have been active in kirlawa in the distant past. December 2907 Samara Jakob’s, the leading politician within the ranks of the Protestant Historical Union has announced that the party will fight the next election in coalition with several other groups. She revealed that the PHU had been totally surprised by their success at the last election, as they had only anticipated being supported by conservative Protestants. However their support far exceeded this base, as the idea of a conservative opposition to the current government which has maintained a monopoly on governance in recent years generated mass support from large sections of the population. Therefore the Protestant Historical Union has worked closely with other minor political parties to ensure that it legislative party is more representative of its support base. As a result the Conservative Union is to be formed, uniting the PHU with other conservative groups. This will ensure that the party is able to develop mass membership, and that the legislative party is more representative of the country as a whole. The other groups that have been invited to join the PHU within the Conservative Union consist of the Catholic People’s Party, the Kirlawan Block, various Orangeists and the Dundorf Union. Each of this represents a coalition of minor parties, but within the Conservative Union they will be able to act as one. ==OLD== The Kirlawan Block was formed in October 2719 after a collection of minor right-wing parties came together in order to contest national elections in Kirlawa under one banner. ==Governments== January 2732 - August 2751 Prime Minister - Mara Moore Defence - Wouter Clark Food and Agriculture - Bart Smith Environment and Tourism - Karl Clark August 2751 - December 2764 Prime Minister - Josh Jones Defence - Karl Johanssen Food and Agriculture - Thomas Martins Environment and Tourism - Elaine Williams October 2775 Defence, Jakob Hooznaar Environment and Tourism - Lucy Jacobs ==Governors== May 2726 - August 2730 - Nuchtmark - William DeLacey May 2726 - August 2737 - Dirlana - John Jones August 2737 - June 2746 - Dirlana - Iain Jakobs February 2741 - August 2744 - Uwakah - Elaine Williams June 2746 - November 2750 - Dirlana - Thomas Martins November 2750 - November 2757 - Dirlana - Wouter Clark November 2757 - May 2761 - Dirlana - Charles Mayfield November 2771 - - Dirlana - James Hamfield The Orangeists have traditionally been the strongest party in Dirlana, but have rarely enjoyed a favourable position elsewhere. |
