Description[?]:
A conglomerate is a vertically integrated supply chain. Conglomeratism seeks to take this vertical integration as a cultural model where stakeholders in various affiliates cultivate craftsmanship for how things work and why they're important. That way, people produce for a purpose, not just for production's sake. For example, a logging company could cultivate craftsmanship with a baseball stadium. The foundation of this is a redefinition of the word "profit" - profit is the availability of free time to apply in pursuit of the arts. As long as stakeholders are artistic, there is no need to regulate them. It's when they become gluttonous that regulation becomes necessary. Furthermore, gluttony is a qualitative, not quantitative, yardstick. It is measured by how completely, not efficiently, resources are organized. |
