Description[?]:
The Conservative Party of Rutania, founded in 3412 by Dominic Hague and Ben Ashley, is a centre-right democratic party which pursues the primary aims of small government, the devolution of power to the grassroots level, domestic and international security, minimal taxation and consumer choice with regard to both services and the economy. -The Conservative Party of Rutania considers the main role of government to maintain a crime- and conflict- free country in which people can prosperously go about their lives without further interference. Furthermore, the state must protect everyone who is not able to protect himself/herself. -The Conservative Party of Rutania encourages diplomacy between our country and others. Nevertheless, the interests of the Commonwealth must always come first. -The Conservative Party of Rutania believes that decisions surrounding aspects of life which are close to home should be taken by those on the ground, and not a centralised government. -The Conservative Party of Rutania believes in the empowerment of people to look after themselves and their families. This accompanies the doctrine that the family is the building block of society. -The Conservative Party of Rutania supports the notion that creativity and entrepreneurship must be encouraged, as opposed to punished. With this in mind, taxation must be minimal. -The Conservative Party of Rutania encourages consumer and worker cooperatives, which can help to stimulate competition, and will always seek to prevent monopolies. |
