Description[?]:
Vigilantes Nocturno Sentinelle Notte Night Watchmen The Night Watchmen Caucus was founded on the Ides of March in 4003. They are a minarchist 'catch-all' libertarian party and believe government should serve a very basic role in society. The group votes together despite diversity in the party. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Party HQ: 4200 SW Manzanita Avenue, Gadur, Marligantos Party Convention Chair: Raul Iglesias Policy Director: Susanna Capello Senate Leader: Enrique Calderon ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ideology: Moderate Libertarian to Extreme Libertarian Senator Factions: -Conservatarian: 24 --Leaders: Anita Santana, Susanna Capello --More Conservative members of the legislature are inclined to oppose unrestricted access to abortion and total drug legalization, but maintain their hard-line fiscal liberalism. -Extreme Libertarian: 15 --Leaders: Ronaldo Juvera, Claudio Lorenzo --Self described purists and minarchists to the extreme believe government should only provide the most basic services ie: police, courts, military, fire protection. Practically invisible government. -Moderate Libertarian: 9 --Leaders: Rosa DelRio --Libertarians who may be in support in more intervention then others, coming out softer on economic liberalism and more willing to compromise and allow more government involvement, -Left Libertarian: 16 --Leaders: Felipe DeLarossa, Julia Wong --Senators who arent entirely sold on economic liberalism and enjoy more progressive tax rates and providing social services. -Right Libertarian: 5 --Leaders: Enrique Calderon, Raul Iglesias --Your classic libertarian that by and large opposes government involvement on social and economic issues. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Electoral History 4004 Election: -The 4004 election saw 69 Senators elected from the party, taking nearly 10% of the vote. Though the primary faction that established the party were RIght wing libertarians, every other major faction beat them out- including the left libertarians, conservatarians and extremists. Though this was the case, heir apparent to the senate leadership Enrique Calderon was able to take hold of the position by maintaining a coalition of moderates, rightists and conservatarians. |
