The Minority Languages Treaty

All the countries who sign this Treaty declare that: All minority languages which are strong enough to form the basis of society for a portion of our citizens will be given legal recognition. If our country is deemed to be the "home" of a minority language, it shall be given equal status to every other such language, including the majority language/s. We shall provide funding to ensure the survival and growth of minority languages within their historical regions. We shall never enact legislation which harm such minority languages, and any such legislation we have on the date of our signing this treaty will be removed from the statute books. |
