Details

Submitted by[?]: Sozialistische Einheitspartei Dundorfs

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3251

Description[?]:

Members of the Bundesrat,

You have decided in which way Ambassadors are to be appointed ( http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=336942 ) . At this very moment 3 nations have ratified the Dundorfian Diplomatic Relations Treaty ( http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=2115 ).

The Minister of Foreign Affairs has nominated 3 candidate Ambassadors to lead our Embassies. Although, the Bundestag has no position in the procedure, I do seek your approval as suggested by the former LDP.

I suggest to give every party with seats in the Bundestag the opportunity to appoint an Ambassador.

Procedure:

1. The Foreign Minister suggests to the Bundespräsident which party can appoint an Ambassador for every nation which ratified the Dundorfian Diplomatic Relations Treaty;
2. The Bundespräsident will propose his/her choice to the Bundestag;
3. With a 2/3 majority vote his/her proposal has to pass;
4. The Foreign Ministry will officially inform the nations involved;
5. Appointed Parties will take care of representing Dundorf and its policies and report "interesting developments" to the Foreign Ministry;
6. a. The Foreign Minister has the opportunity to have Ambassadors replaced;
6. b. the Bundespräsident is allowed to re-asign a nation to another party but a 2/3 majority vote is needed in the Bundestag.

When agreed by a 2/3 majority I appoint:

- a KP Ambassador to the Republic of Endralon http://classic.particracy.net/viewnation.php?nationid=8
- a RKP Ambassador to the Great Empire of Indrala http://classic.particracy.net/viewnation.php?nationid=30
- a LGB Ambassador to the Abadi Caliphate of Kafuristan http://classic.particracy.net/viewnation.php?nationid=43
- a LP Ambassador to Kingdom of Dranland May 3250 http://classic.particracy.net/viewnation.php?nationid=52
-a KP Ambassador to Free Gaduridos February 3250 http://classic.particracy.net/viewnation.php?nationid=23
- a SED Ambassador to Trigunskaja Narodnaja Respublika (Trigunia) October 3249 http://classic.particracy.net/viewnation.php?nationid=31

MessageEven though our party has no control over this, and cannot appoint an Ambassador yet, we do wish to approve this plan vocally. At the very least, we appreciate our Bundespräsident's call for democratic underpinnings when it comes to the appointment of Ambassadors, which we believe to be fair and necessary.
