The New Green Party is an environmentalist political party based in the United States of Baltusia, advocating for the protection of the environment that surrounds us. The first iteration of the NGP formed in April 5030 by Zachary Calahan and remained a player in Baltusian politics until its dissolution in January 5203, after nearly 173 years. Nearly 130 years after dissolving began a new movement for the revival of the New Green Party, and in July 5328, the party formed once again. Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
