Description[?]:
The Orthodox Alliance is a green libertarian political movement dedicated to the material and political interests of the cats in Barmenistan. The Alliance is opposed to monarchism and all foreign and domestic royal families, and is committed to the Federal Republic established in Varishehr in 4298. The Orthodox Alliance subscribes to Libertarianism, the original ideological stance of the Sacred Feline Alliance, the political party of Lady Ershébef Kepahisn, while aiming to overcome the limitations of man-made ideologies in favor of dependence on the General Feline Will in finding and implementing solutions to human and ecological problems. Originally founded as the Orthodox Feline Alliance, a political party representing the Orthodox Felinist community, the party adopted a new name in 4300 in order to comply with the ban on sectarian political parties. In spite of its claim of being open to all Barmenians regardless of religion, it is occasionally accused of remaining an Orthodox Felinist organization. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
