Founded in late 2190 by a collective of veterans of the worldwide anti fascist movement and jewish trade unionists. HH is a force of militant socialists and secular zionists dedicated to the creation of a radical, social democratic jewish nationstate. Morris Beckman is the party founder, leader, and presidential candidate, and chairman of the executive committee Following the snap elections of July 2193; HH has found itself as the largest party in the Knesset and Morris Beckman has been triumphantly elected as Beitenyu's second ever Socialist President. Membership of HH has soared as a result as has membership of the affiliated trade unions. Another early election in June '94 has seen HH consolidate it's position and increase it's number of MKs to 133; while reconfirming the position of Beckman has president. The elections of 2198 have seen a temporary setback for HH, and of course Mr Beckman who has lost the post of President. The party vows to renew itself and continue to fight for democratic socialist zionism. In the elections of 2202 HH have surged back into third place with a respectable 101 seats in the knesset. |
