Description[?]:
The LDU believes in a strong base of liberalism while wholeheartedly representing the people of the Commonwealth. The LDU takes a stance on the following issues: Abortion: A woman should have the right to her own body. Supportive of funded abortion if the fetus has been declared (pregnancy recognized by medical examiners) less than 7 months prior. Taxation: If one earns upwards of US$ 250,000 a year, they are entitled to pay 10% more than the working class. It is only fair, as they must learn to give back to society, and improve it through taxation. The Environment: The environment is the greatest treasure of the Commonwealth, full of astounding beauty. Protect it. Education: Education is the future, and we must invest in it. The government should circulate curriculum to unify all national schools in challenging work, requiring logical and critical thinking. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: "The test of courage comes when we are in the minority. The test of tolerance comes when we are in the majority." - Ralph W. Sockman |
