Description[?]:
The Social Democratic Party of Beluzia is a centre left party supports a capitalist mixed economy and a welfare state. The Party's founder and current leader is John Ericcson. The Party was formed from a split in the UBWP right wing and the PLP left wing to create a centre left social democratic party despite this the SDP retains rather good relations with both parties even joining regional coalitions with both of them. During its first leader covention former UBWP member and founder of the SDP John Ericsson was nominated with 82% of the party vote. In the 4592 election Ericsson was elected president this was short lived however because inability to form a cabinet coalition led to a snap election 2 years later in which Ericsson lost to John Fritz of the Peoples Party. During the parties Second leader convention John Ericsson was Nominated with just 52% of the vote because of his short and disunited presidency. In the third leader convention the Social Democratic Caucasus narrowly defeated the Green Caucasus the fall in votes due to the complete collapse of the SDP in parliament in 4602 Ideolgies Social Democracy Social Market Economy Mixed Economy Green Politics Democratic Socialism (Minority) Political Position: Centre Left Election Performance February 4588 + 61 (61) February 4592 + 74 (135) March 4594 + 16 (151) March 4598 -29 (122) March 4602 -84 (38) |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
