Description[?]:
The Labour Party of Hutori is a major political party in Hutori. The Party claims its history to date back to the early 3900s from the founding of the People's Civic Party, viewed by many as the political arm of the House of Lexington. The Party is lead by Beckett 'Beck' Lexington and has filed paperwork to once again stand in federal elections starting in 5295. ---- LABOUR POLITICIANS ---- Beckett 'Beck' Thomas Lexington (born March 5262-July 5313) - Leader; Labour Party (5292--Present), MP for Axminster Muncey (5295--5301, 5309--5313), Prime Minister of Hutori (5295--5301), President of the Commonwealth (5301--5305). Arthur 'A.J'. Joseph Lexington (born June 5276) MP for Axminster Muncey (5301--5309), MP for Axminster Thorndale (5309--Present). Christian Palmer Nailings (born September 5268) MP for Axminster North (5295--Present). Maximus 'Max' Alexander Graham (born March 5262) MP for Prosperity Fairview (5295--Present), Minister of Internal Affairs (5295--5302), Leader of the Opposition (5305--5309). Leo Alphonsus Barrett (born April 5279) MP for Kincardine Mount Pearl (5305--Present). ---- The LEXINGTON Family ---- The Lexington family is an Hutorian noble family that has long been prominent in Hutorian politics, public service, entertainment, and business. Benjamin Lexington (3823–3858) and Aoife Murphy Lexington (3824–3888) sailed from Kirlawa to Axminister in 3849. Benjamin worked as an apprentice carpenter before the Lexingtons decided to move north to Kincardine, Roccato. The Lexingtons had one child: Thomas Casey "T.C." Lexington. Benjamin would go on to start a small carpentry business. T.C. Lexington and his mother would inherit the business when Benjamin passed away in 3858. T.C. would transform his fathers small carpentry business until the largest regional real estate development firm in Hutori, rebranding as LexHutori Builders sometime in 3871. T.C. would marry Melanie Allen in 3883 and together they would have 5 children. Their oldest was Blake Augustus Lexington. Blake A. Lexington was a businessman who used the modest inheritance he recieved when his father passed and made a fortune in securities trading, to which he, later, further expanded by investing in filmmaking and publishing. Blake would marry Anna Katherine in 3913 and together they would have 5 children. Around 3918, Blake A. Lexington would begin his political activism and eventually would form the People's Civic Party (PCP) with Kirlawan immigrant, Fallon O'Brennan. Blake and the PCP played a vital role in bringing down the Kingdom of Hutori and replacing it with the 2nd Federal Republic of Hutori, and for his efforts Blake Lexington would be elected the 1st President of the new republic. The PCP would eventually become known as the Liberal Party, as they are more commonly referred to historically. The Lexington would resettle in Axminister, Adelia and the city has historically been a politcal stronghold for the family. The Lexington's dominance in Hutorian politics would be short lived despite boosting multiple Presidents, Prime Ministers, Chancellors, MPs and Supreme Court Justices. It would be the family's business dealings that would help propel them among the most the elite of Hutorian society. The success of LexHutori would lead to the Lexington's branching out into other sectors with the founding of LexMedia and Rocc-Cola. LexHutori and LexMedia would eventually merged to become Lexington Enterprises. Lexington Enterprises has gone through a number of changes over the centuries and toay is known as LexGlobal, a massive multinational conglomerate that has holdings in real estate, media, entertainment, technology, manufacturing, food and beverage, and insurance. The Lexington family has mostly stayed away from Hutorian politics for the past several centuries while extended family members have become prominent politicians in the United States of Baltusia and recently in the Republic of Kirlawa. The Adams family of Hutori, the Murray family of Baltusia, and the Donovan family of Kirlawa are all extended members of the Lexingtons.
