Description[?]:
PARTI POPULISTE NATIONALE DE KANJOR Dictateur de Parti: Alexandre Arceneau OVERVIEW: The Parti Populiste Nationale de Kanjor is more than a political party; it is an organic movement of citizens of Kanjor, bound together by a common heritage, common language, common values, and a common culture. It is with these principles in mind that PPNK hopes to one day govern this nation, rejecting the radical, anti-national elements on the left and the dour, complacent conservative aristocrats. The PPNK offers a new dynamism that transcends left and right politics; a new unity that will not simply pander to one class or another, but uplift the nation as a whole, leading it to a new self-realization and rebirth. ECONOMICS: It is the position of the PPNK that, like all other things that affect the nation, the economy must, above all else, serve the nation, rather than the interests of any one class or group of individuals. The PPNK, therefore, rejects both capitalism and communism as viable solutions to the problems of the economy. Rather, the PPNK seeks a fusion of the progressive, communal spirit of socialism with the incentives offered by the free market to foster a sense of competitive cooperation. It is in this spirit that the MRN lays out its core economic principles: 1. The economy must, as a product of the nation, serve the nation's interests in all areas in which it is able. This requires a strong, interventionist economic policy with significant guidance provided by the central government in order to encourage growth where it is most needed. 2. The economy must not be left to the devices of anti-national socialist and communist radicals who would see our nations economy fall into ruin; therefore, while great amounts of intervention are necessary, the base of the economy must remain where it has always been: with small-scale family business. The PPNK encourages the proliferation of small businesses as the foundation upon which a strong, successful economy is constructed. 3. It is in the fields that our nation's spirit is truly represented. The farmer has long embodied our nation's most sacred principles and it is up to the national government to ensure that our farmers are well-protected from the unpredictable fluctuations of the economy. The PPNK hopes to see farming not only protected, but actively encouraged and subsidized in the hopes that we will never rely on another nation to feed our people. SOCIAL AND CULTURAL POLICY: The PPNK, above all else, hopes to see the culture of Kanjor flourish and bloom into a new renaissance. As it stands, the culture of Kanjor is under never-ending assault from all sides of the political spectrum, as parties forget the people who placed them in power, and forget the spirit of the nation they are sworn to represent. The PPNK therefore proposes these principles, separated by issue, as principles upon which Kanjor's rebirth will be built. Centralization: The PPNK follows the "Principe de Direction de Arceneau" or Chevalier Leadership Principle. Although named after the PPNK's current dictateur, it is an ideal that transcends Arceneau himself. It is the opinion of the PPNK that the nation is best represented when the spirit and needs of the people are embodied by a single leader who is synonymous with the nation itself. The fusion of the state and individual does not mean dictatorship by a single person, but dictatorship by the people through a single person who is to be chosen based on aptitude from within the party apparatus. Civil Rights: The PPNK believes strongly in the rights of all people and all cultures to flourish individually, but is staunchly opposed to multiculturalism; it is a disease promoted by those who would see Kanjor's most sacred traditions and customs subverted and undermined by alien elements. Therefore, the PPNK proposes a proactive system of civil rights that is goes beyond simple permission, but actively encourages behaviour that leads to individual and national progression. Environment: The natural beauty of Kanjor must never be permanently tampered with; we must all take pride in the wondrous natural beauty present in our land and, more importantly, work to preserve it through strong regulation of elements that would seek to exploit or destroy it. Foreign Policy: Our nation is entitled to individually pursue its goals without interference from other nations of Terra; likewise, other nations are perfectly within their rights to pursue whatever goals they see fit without any interference from Kanjor. The PPNK proposes a foreign policy founded upon the principle of live and let live. If Kanjor is not directly threatened, there is absolutely no reason why Kanjor should pursue aggressive policies that will only lead to the loss of vital national resources and prestige. If, on the other hand, Kanjor is in danger, or its national interest is in danger, the PPNK wholeheartedly supports action, diplomatic or military, to defend those interests. Military: The military is the backbone of any successful state; it provides security and opportunity. Therefore, the military of Kanjor must not only be well taken care of, but strengthened and progressively modernized, such that we as a nation will never have to wonder if we are truly secure from our enemies, internal or external. Morality/Religion: Morality defines a people, and the PPNK recognizes this as the basis upon which a national culture not only develops, but truly flourishes. Religion, too, is an inseparable part of the national conscience. Therefore, the PPNK wishes to see the protection of our fundamental moral values, and the voluntary establishment of a national religion based on the demographics of our people such that our constituents are best represented by their government. |
