Description[?]:
CAPITALISM: We are for private control of industry and business. Let the free market work its way! FREEDOM: People should be free to do whatever they want, unless they hurt someone else in the process (aka libertarianism). MILITARY: With many hating enemies, having a strong and modern army is vitally important. RELIGION: Church and state should be separate, however in such a Jewish-oriented state as Beiteynu, an official voluntary symbolic state religion is acceptable. FOREIGN POLICY: Our nation should have a say in the global politics of Terra, however we should not seek or provoke conflict. NATIONAL SECURITY: The balance of Security v. Freedom should be fair, without unnecessary meddling in private lives, but at the same time ensuring the safety of our nation. DELTARIA: We should conduct a pro-democratic policy, supporting the battling forces of freedom and liberty. However, this should be limited and unprovoking. TAXES AND BUDGET: Taxes should be set at a level where they can cover a basic budget. The main two sections of the budget should be Defence and Infrastrucutre, with the remaining money going to other sectors. FEDERAL STRUCTURE: Although certain issues should be left up to the local governments, vital issues such as trade, war, taxes, budget, certain necessary freedoms and rights, etc. should be maintained by the central government. |
