Description[?]:
国民民主党 - Kokumin-minshutō (Kunihito) Nationale Demokratische Partei (Hulstrian) National Democratic Party (Luthorian) 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: Established by Inouye Yakamochi, philosopher and current Professor of Dovanian Culture at the Miyako National University after a speech to members of the Gao-Sotoan Association for Culture and Art, the National Democratic Party emerged as a local conservative organization, centered around the representation of Gao-Soto at the national level, as well as enshrining the practices of environmental preservation, with Yakamochi’s personal philosophy that Gao-Sotoan culture is deeply connected to the land being the driving factor behind such policy. Yakamochi is a deeply religious man, a core value of himself that has only furthered his wishes for increased religious rights within Hulstria and Gao-Soto through the National Democratic Party. Yakamochi’s profound background within education, sharing many experiences with pupils across various institutions in Gao-Soto, Hulstria, and abroad, led him to place national education funding at the forefront of the party’s policies. Almost immediately after it’s foundation, the Kokumin-minshutō found a strong ally with the Neue Kaiserliche Partei, likely due to Yakamochi’s ardent belief that a monarchy is deeply connected to both the Hulstrian and Gao-Sotoan peoples, quipping “Our nation without a monarchy is like the morning without sunrise.” ————————————————————————— 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺: At its core, the National Democratic Party is a conservative political party, representing Gao-Sotoan minority politics and culture through the legislature. However, the party has attracted popular support that is large enough for both more liberal and more conservative factions to exist within it. In regards to social policies, such as healthcare, abortion, as well as labor and education in the nation, the NDP favors abortion at the early stages exclusively. Yakamochi himself is a proponent of a streamlined public healthcare system, extensively maintained by the government. With education and labor laws, Yakamochi holds a simple mindset via a proverb—Jigōjitoku, or “One’s act, one’s profit.” Expressing support for the largely agrarian industry of Gao-Soto, but also the small industrial sectors that are beginning to flourish, the NDP is firmly committed to defending fair labor laws as well as safety standards. With Yakamochi’s prior experience in the education system through his teaching of philosophy, this has led him to become a strong supporter of a national public higher education system, as well as improving the quality of lower education institutions. ————————————————————————— 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸: In regards to the world at large, the NDP favors a moderate isolationist stance with the nature of world politics, but favoring a strong diplomatic bond between all Kunihito-speaking nations, as well as nations which have a large number of minority speakers. Yakamochi himself, in the founding speech of the NDP, expressed the wishes of a pan-Kunihito cultural association. An extension of this, to some degree, was also Yakamochi’s desire to foster strong diplomacy with Indrala, whom he refers to as “Separate peoples, but from the same heart.” On the matter of global trade, many within the NDP, including Yakamochi himself, strongly favor not only Gao-Soto, but Hulstria also to lay a web of economic connections the world over, with globalism being a core ideal of such policy.
