The Pirate Party of the Commonwealth is a left leaning party though traditionally the Pirate Party is bloc independent. We believe in a free and open knowledge world as it benefits all instead of some. We believe in the strengthening of civil rights today and into the future. We advocate for a direct democracy system and one that is transparent. We advocate strongly for the environment and have a proud environmental record. We support Net Neutrality and will fight valiantly to keep the internet open to all. We support more regulation for the economy in order that corporations can't exploit citizens as they have in the past. |
