Description[?]:
The philosophical foundations of Ecofeudalist-Antinatalist Peasant Party combine the radical belief in a society organized around an organic aristocratic hierarchy and deep ecology with a militant paganic religious undercurrent. EAPP is running on an anti-bourgeois'-urbanite, antinatalist, cameralist, pro-isolationist platform and represents, among others, the philosophically virulently anti-Hosianic (and thus naturally also against the para-religious doctrine of "Lodamese Nationalism" as its seen as a proletarized variation of Hosianism with an identical foreign Quedarite morality) forces of Lodamun. It’s commonly accepted that the heartland of Lodamese ecofeudalism is in the mountainous region of Kregon, far from the “rootless coastal urbanites”. The rise and subsequent fate of the party was closely tied to the large number of different rural folk religions that emerged as a more significant movement around the 4500s in Southern Lodamun, having prior to that been more of a regional curiosity. EAPP quickly became the political voice of the more extreme wing of the new paganic wave that with decades developed into what’s commonly known as the “Esoteric Elderpath”, a relatively harsh combination of all sorts of rural superstitions with distinct influences from the ancient native Tears of Termani cult from neighboring Likatonia and Lodamese own Shadowism religious movement of the 3800s. - During the 4520s and 30s EAPP took part in and led a number of "national liberation governments" in the events leading up to and during the "First Co-operative Federative Republic of Lodamun". Among others those were the: - The "Solitary Tip of Seleya" cabinet of July 4521 - The nameless government of February 4522 - The "Quiet Reflection Coalition" of December 4524 - The provisional "Same Old" Government of December 4526 The party also had a central role in the following establishment of the Co-operative Federative Republic and a leading role in the following conservative government of 4532 which reached its historical culmination in December of 4532 when a leading figure of EAPP, Dracomir I Dauxus, Baron d'Astres, had the democratic parlamentary majority support to reform the executive branch and become a Prince-President. However, the proposal was foiled by a technicality after which the EAPP slowly faded. - The party returned in the mid-4610s under a young claimant to the officially unrecognized seat of the hereditary prince-presidency, Dracomir IV Dauxus, Baron d'Astres, who would later become the first and last restored President of the Third Great Democratic Republic in 4621 before its abolishment in 4623. In the lead-up to the restoration of the Co-operative Federative Republic of Lodamun, EAPP would win the last three elections of 3rd GDR in March 4619, September 4619 and September 4621 and be vital in the formation of the "Less Choo-Choo" government of 4622 after the stillbirth of the "Choo-Choo" government of 4621. The electoral triumph would not only continue under the fresh 2nd Co-operative Federative Republic but soar to new heights with the landslide victory of September 4623 elections that left the party with more than third of the seats in the Chamber of Peoples' Deputies and far ahead of the other seven parties. Dracomir IV Dauxus, although calling himself a "Prince-President" since his first presidential victory in 4621, was finally officially crowned in the first half of 4626 after another successful election in 4625 that once again left over two thirds of the Chamber to monarchist parties. By the mid-4630s, the EAPP had won the last ten national elections with a clear lead over their numerous opponents, but finally they lost their generation-long lead in the June 4635 elections. The aftermath, however, brought different kind of victory as some half-suspect dealings resulted in the nation getting a non-EAPP government but also passing a fundamental judical reform that dismantled the antiquated, almost seven centuries old court system and left the Prince-President with immense powers as the sole arbiter of law in the country. Following the reforms, His Serene Augustness Dracomir IV stepped down, leaving the Prince-Presidential office to his younger brother, who continued the tradition under the regnal name Dracomir V Dauxus. In 4643, in the seventh year of the reign of Prince-President Dracomir V, Lodamun and the princely family celebrated the 111th anniversary of the coronation of the first Prince-President. In 4658, during the 22nd year of His reign and 35th anniversary of the restored Co-operative Federative Republic, Lodamun passed the necessary laws to make official the celebration of "Constitution Day" and in 4661 the Prince-President and the whole of Lodamun celebrated His Serene Augustness's Silver Jubilee. From 4669 onward Lodamun remained without a Prime Minister but with an otherwise functioning cabinet and as this period coincided with the grand presidential reform efforts (4670 to 4676), the power balance seemed to somewhat shift towards the Prince-Presidency. In 4677 the Princely Bureau managed to successfully dismantle state Hosianism in place since 4636, signalling the return of the more fervently anti-Quedarite politics. His Serene Augustness Dracomir V Dauxus abdicated in favor of his grand-cousin who was crowned in early 4683 under the name of Dismas I only days after the establishment of the 1st Princely Republic of Lodamun. His full title was His Serene Augustness Dismas I Dauxus, the sixth Prince-President of the Lodamese, Father of the Fatherland and Elder of the State, Lord Protector of the crown lands of Kregon, Rapula, Golavia, Norstavan and Andalay. The Princely Republic saw the experimental relegalization of private automobiles in 4684 and their decisive restriction in the end of 4692. - Following the slow stagnation of the Princely regime and political sidelining of the office of Prince-President, the final collapse came in 4719 after the death of Dismas I when the long-time major governing parties decided to rupture the usual electoral process for a new Prince-President and drag Lodamun back under a Great Democratic Republican way of governing, following which the Lodamese forces loyal to the Princely government retreated into Transkregonia and established the so-called Democratic Resistance Movement. The first Princely regime lasted in different forms for almost exactly a hundred years. The fall of the regime would signal the beginning of the Second Underground Period, this time led by the heavy hand of the patriarch heading an ancient Transkregonian cadet branch of the dynasty under the royal name Demetrius I. However, soon it became clear that the fall was not complete as the position of the Prince-President remained empty but wasn't abolished, a few of the cornerstones of the Princely era remained (with slavery repermitted in 4729) and the underground "democratic resistance" controlling wide chunks of the nation alongside the central government in an almost diarchic fashion. Following the contentious 4731 elections and the formation of a new government by the former opposition parties, the underground EAPP cells and its various allied organizations and puppet groups decided to set up an alternative "continuity" executive body under the name of "Lodamese Transitional Government". Next 25 years brought with them no breakthroughs until the Presidium-aligned powers finally retreated from Daro in 4756 and, after also establishing a coalition in the North, thus with EAPP in power in *both* sides of Lodamun, His Serene Augustness Demetrius I finally reentered the now-occupied Daro and crowned himself, following not an national electoral victory as he had hoped but a passive conquest of the national capital following its relinquishment by the Presidiumite forces. Demetrius I was assassinated in Providence in June of 4761 and his body was brought back to South by a very retaliatory Princely Guard. A more moderate Kasimir I took his place and, with the Princely power crumbling under the Northern revolutionary forces everywhere but the deepest, most mountainous South, the Prince-Presidential political tradition remained in a dim half-light for over a century, not going through even much of rebirth after the establishment of the 5th GDR. - End of socialist domination of Lodamun, resurgence of (more moderate) Southern paganic politics and attempts at a creation of a different sort of monarchy in the country led to the establishment of a coalition ticket of numerous minor parties in the Dauxite political tradition, at first under the name of "Prince-Republican League - New EAPP". |
