| Northern Artanian Security Organisation (NASO) Background and Aim This organisation was established in September 4344 in order to enhance security cooperation amongst the nations of northern Artania. By encouraging increased ties at the political party level the aim of NASO is to encourage domestic governments of member parties in order to bring about a greater level of security cooperation between the nation states of Northern Artania. Security cooperation focuses on defence and preventing the outbreak of conflict in Northern Artania but will also involve looking at increased cooperation in areas of policing, intelligence, migration and border security. Leadership NASO shall be headed by a Secretary General who shall act as a figurehead for the organisation. A representative from each nation that has a member party of NASO shall be invited to sit on the NASO Leadership Council. The first Secretary General was Gergori Aramaio, a defence analyst and former soldier from Kundrati. 4344 - - Gergori Aramaio - Kundrati Member Parties Member parties are to encourage membership from other political parties in their respective nations. Member parties are to work with other member parties in order to enhance security cooperation amongst member states. Relationship with other organisations/Treaties Artanian Union - This organisation has no ties to the Artanian Union. The Northern Council Treaty - http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3378 - NASO encourages member parties to look favourably upon joining the Northern Council Treaty.
