ALORIA FIRST PARTY Economic Left/Right: 3.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 6.05 Political philosophy: Paleoconservatism, social conservatism, economic nationalism, classical federalism, non-interventionism, anti-communism, anti-liberalism. Political position: Right-wing. The Aloria First Party's detailed political agenda is as follows: - The AFP is committed to the defence of Aloria's national sovereignty, and opposes the nation's involvement in and membership of any international institutions and binding treaties that undermine its autonomy. - The AFP is committed to the principle of federalism, and supports the devolution, decentralization and localization of government authority. Power should reside close to the people to ensure that decisions reflect their true interests, and that decision-makers are held to account. - The AFP is fervently opposed to globalization in all of its forms, including global governence. - The AFP is opposed to Aloria's involvement in any wars that do not directly involve her, and believes that the nation's international relations should be based first and foremost on national interests. - The AFP is opposed to the ideology of free-trade, and supports a comprehensive system of import tarrifs to protect Aloria's domestic industries and prevent the outsourcing of Alorian jobs. The AFP believe in the importance of a strong manufacturing and agricultural base to national autonomy. - The AFP is opposed to mass immigration, and supports a system of limited immigration based on a recognition of the importance of social cohesion and other factors. - The AFP is opposed to the concept of multi-culturalism. - The AFP is opposed to affirmative-action, positive discrimination and racial quotas of all forms. - The AFP is opposed to abortion and euthanasia under any circumstances. - The AFP is opposed to gay marriage, gay IVF treatment, and gay adoption. - The AFP supports legal gun ownership, but recognizes the need that it be restricted to law-abiding citizens with no criminal history or mental illness. - The AFP supports capital punishment for serious offences, including murder, rape, pedophilia and terrorism. - The AFP is opposed to a federal income tax, and instead supports a system of excise taxes on imports, as well as other indirect taxes. - The AFP is opposed to the ideologies of communism and liberalism. - The AFP believes that the ideology of equality is a pernicious myth. |
