Description[?]:
The Liberal Alliance Party (LAP) is a center party that slightly knocks on the door on the left. The LAP believes in less government control over non vital associations. We also believe that essential services such as healthcare, welfare, forest management, etc should be run or at the very least helped by the government. Either local or federal. Thoughts on important issues: 1. Gun control: we believe people should be allowed guns but only under strict conditions. 2. Global warming: The LAP believes climate change is a huge issue in out society. 3. Military: We think that compulsory military service should never be allowed, even during war time. 4. Immigration: We think that immigration should be more strict but for those immigrants living here they should be given moderate welfare. Ideology: Center https://www.politicalcompass.org/crowdchart2?spots=-0.5%7C-2%7CLAP |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
