News Report

Citizens of Cobura were horrified as news came through of a shooting spree in a small school in the Province of Egato. Carl Harris, a frustrated student fed up with school work, entered the school this yesterday morning armed with a gun and began shooting students and teachers indiscriminately. After killing 3 people and wounding 3 more, Carl Harris committed suicide before being arrest by law enforcement. Former teacher William Taylor told reporters how the community was still in a state of shock and how this tragedy would haunt Cobura for years to come. Presiding Officer Mary-Jane Metspõld has since travelled to the area to attend the funerals of the victims.

Announcement from the Government of the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu

This press message was released by the Government of the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu.

State of the Gisotho Jews:

"At the last count there were very few Jews living in Gishoto. Numbers are hard to come by as an accurate census has not been taken for some time due to difficulties with some legislation in that area, but last estimates suggest around 160,000. Jews, like all non-protestant Christians, are currently excluded from citizenship, though they are of course allowed to maintain their nationality. There preferred course of action when it comes to Jews is their conversion to Christianity wherever possible and this is encouraged by many government departments, but emigration to the Beiteynu is also seen as a perfectly valid action now."

We at the Beiteynu Knessent have passed the bill: Aid to Gishoto Jewish Immigrants.

"Gishotos evil policy of banning all religions bar the Lutheran Church has for too long oppressed our people. While most Jewish people have already chosen to leave, imany to Beiteynu, it is intolerable that some are forced to remain for financial reasons. We therefore propose new measures specifically for Gishoto Jews."
