Description[?]:
"Non ducor, duco" (I am not led, I lead) Salvete, omnes! The CPAM (Convocatus Populusque Axis Mundi / The Convocation and Axis Mundian People) is a political party representative of the peoples will for progress and modernization in a world wracked by instability and uncertainty. Espousing a progressive, optimistic, and above all, attainable vision of an idealistic and utopian future for our vibrant, thriving nation. OUR PLATFORM - enhanced environmental controls to preserve the beauty of our nation for future generations and protect the well-being of the current one, and other sustainable development initiatives - thriving international trade and active participation in the world community without ceding our national sovereignty or patriotic identity as a nation - a strong military to defend our porous borders against terrorist threats or rogue nations who disobey international norms and mores - a streamlined judicial and legislative system - major governmental reform to encourage the use of e-democracy and distributed republicanism to bring more political control to those who know how to use it best: the people themselves - infosocialist principles, including the use of the creative commons and open-source software, and the disobedience of intellectual property law where morally prurient - increased funding for schools and higher education nationwide, as well as access for all our citizens to go to a college or university should they desire it - universal health care for all our citizens and resident aliens - a healthy capitalist and free-market economy along with extensive government investment in start-up companies to promote research, development, and invention of new technologies, which will in turn make our economy grow exponentially stronger and more stable, leading to a positive feedback loop of further development and innovation - the espousal of the inherent rights of all human beings: the love and to marry, to be free from oppression and fear, to be able to express themselves as they see fit, and to promote the intellectual, cultural, and social development of humanity as a whole and our citizens in particular |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
